Situated 10 minutes down the coast from Estepona, Sabinillas sits halfway between Marbella and Gibralter.
Sabinillas is a fishing village which has lots of local amenities which include Super sol, Mercadona, Post Office, Banks, Lidl plus, loads of restaurants and bars.
Since the improvements to the A7(N340) which is the coast road, they built an underpass for the traffic to pass through, many expats pay visits to Sabinillas with Gibralter being only 30 minutes away by car.
There are many bus services and you can get a direct bus to La Linea(the line) which separates Spain and the UK(Gibralter). There are also direct services to Estepona and Marbella.
Sabinillas has the benefit of having one of the most quieter beach areas along the coast
There is a market every Sunday which started out as a car boot sale in the 90s, it reminds me of Petticoat Lane market in East London, UK.
The marina is a great place to eat and drink and it is where most of the english speakers frequent.
